Stow Lake is a little treasure where sea gulls come
to hang out and where lazy turtles hold on to drift wood and pretend to sleep...
where ducks are gliding on the smooth surface of the water while Canadian
geese keep to the edges...
where a couple of herons made their nest in a tree top in the island, one
is watching the content of the nest, the other one is at the foot of the tree...
where one little squirrel is begging for a peanut (and got one, but not
from me!), where twisted tree trunks guard the path.
Right around the corner is the Rose Garden and its jewels...
