Urban beauty and urban works

The City has been busy with various grand construction projects downtown, with construction cranes reaching for the skies and tall buildings popping up all over the place. Other tasks are more simple in nature although they are just as crucial and in all of them, day after day, you can hear the humming song of the city life.

It is sometimes possible to turn a corner and suddenly see a beautiful sight, in the design of a building, in the strange intersection of lines or in the ceiling of clouds over a busy street.

If down-town has many amazing sights in terms of sheer size, in my neighborhood away from the central hub, there is much care being brought to smaller things, such as a gate or a door, the paint on a flight of stairs or the edges of a house, the flowers lovingly planted, the ceramic stairs built by the community. But here also, patience and care are weaved into the works and the life of the City!
